With 35 years of professional landscape design experience, Steve Aardweg of Aardweg Landscaping maintains very reasonable and affordable pricing guidelines for his work. We are pleased to complete virtually any sized installation project in which our clients are interested. Many of our new projects cost between $5,000 and $25,000, while some run $50,000 or more.Our projects start as low as $3,500. The complexity of the design,scope of the work, and client's need for instant gratification are the primary determining factors in the cost.Our preliminary figures sheet includes installation cost estimates for high, medium and low cost options, enabling you to structure your installation costs to best meet your personal standards and budget. If the client needs more instant gratification, generally that will push the cost to the high end of the preliminary numbers spectrum. If you have time and the inclination, smaller plants at the lower end of the cost spectrum will grow and fill while allowing a lower budget.
Our installation costs typically fall into a midrange category. We are not the lowest cost installer in the Philadelphia area, nor are we the most expensive. Low-end installation costs may reflect poor design capabilities, the use of inferior quality materials (smaller and less healthy plants) or an unskilled installation crew. Professional Landscape Design Fees
Professionally designed landscape master plans generlly range in price from $1250 to $3000, depending on the size and complexity of your design program and garden plan. Should you elect to have our professionally trained landscape design crew perform the installation, we will deduct your design fee from the total cost of the installation.
Drawing, Photograph and 3D Image Pricing
Aardweg Landscaping offers an array of drawing and photograph options. These drawing and photograph formats include the Master Landscape Plan Drawing, Photographic Image Designs, and 3D Renderings. Your preference in visual communication options will affect your design phase pricing.
Photographic Image Design is our most popular imaging option. Realistic photographic images are used as a design tool to conceive your landscape design. Typically we require two to three pictures to create a design of a front yard or back yard garden. The price for each photograph is generally $100. The final images integrate the new design into the original garden. The new garden is realistically portrayed and brought to life in this photographic process.
Landscape Master Plans are the traditional drawing format which shows the boundaries, buildings and gardens to scale in plan (top-down) view. Measurements and photographs of the site are used to construct the plan drawing. Landscape master plans range in price from $1250 to $3000, contingent upon your scope of work.
3D Image Renderings are digitally produced renderings constructed in 3D modeling computer landscape design software. We measure your property and carefully reproduce it to scale in our computer software. As the design unfolds, we are able to produce 3D virtual images of your landscaped garden. It is as though you are walking through the garden and seeing the actual spatial relationships between the garden elements and its surroundings. Plants, trees, and grass are shown in approximate mature sizes, color and textures. This process is somewhat more time consuming than others, and therefore more expensive. However, for larger projects, it is well worth the added expense! Pricing for 3D Image renderings is contingent upon the size of the project and scope of work and generally runs from $750 to $1500.
