Rosemont has a number of stately homes and landmark buildings, some of which appear to be inspired by castles but also has numerous more modest homes. Formal gardens complement this Main Line architecture nicely, and can be created near any home. When choosing a formal garden for your Rosemont home, think about adding splashes of color with annuals or perennials to add visual interest.

Although it is in Hardiness Zone 7a, there are numerous plants that you can incorporate into your Rosemont landscape design. Hydrangeas and many perennials grow well here. Add a few evergreen specimens such as boxwood, cherry laurel or skimmia to help soften the look a bit.
